In the deep forests of New Hampshire, on craggy hillsides, Elderfrost Nursery exists as a multi-faceted project. Our goal is to gather as much genetic diversity of edible perennial plants as possible, with a focus on nutrition and hardiness. Once specific plants and gene lines have proven stable in our poor soils and harsh Zone 5 winters, we make these plants and plant materials available to everyone.
